The 16th Separate Brigade of the Brody Army Aviation
The pilots of the 16th Separate Brody Army Aviation Brigade took part in 21 UN peacekeeping missions in Yugoslavia, Kosovo and Africa, and since 2014 have been involved in combat operations against the Russian army. IN March and April 2022, they were involved in an operation to evacuate wounded soldiers from Azovstal. Currently, the helicopter pilots of the 16th Separate Army Aviation Brigade are performing combat missions in eastern Ukraine.
