Kurakhove, Donetsk region, Ukraine

Before the full-scale invasion of the Russian occupiers, the town was home to more than 18,000 residents. In June 2024, only 3,000 residents remained in the settlement. Now the streets of Kurakhove look empty, and residential and administrative buildings are damaged by artillery shells that the Russian army shells the town every day. Yesterday, the distance to the front line from the central square of the city was 12 km, and today it is 10 km.
